ScopeTrackr

For Shopify stores that run sync, bundle or bulk-edit apps

An app just set your stock to zero. Put it back in one click.

ScopeTrackr keeps its own log of every inventory change in your store. When hundreds of SKUs drop to 0 or go negative, you hear about it in minutes and restore the counts from before. No recount.

Wiped or scrambled stock came up again and again, in sync, bundle, ERP and bulk-edit apps. The app changes the counts, nobody can say why, and nobody can put them back.

How it works

  1. 1Record

Every stock change, for every SKU and location, goes into a log kept apart from your store and the apps that write to it.

  2. 2Alert

You hear about it when something nobody intends happens: a big share of SKUs hitting 0, negative stock, or one location jumping by hundreds.

  3. 3Restore

Pick a time before the problem. ScopeTrackr shows every change it would make, and writes only what you confirm.

Protect your stock before the next sync runs.

We set up the first stores by hand. During the 7-day pilot we log every stock change in your store and send you a daily report of anything unusual. You tell us what the alerts and the restore need to do.

  • About 15 minutes of your time to set up
  • A daily report from day one
  • Help putting counts back if something goes wrong during the pilot

We use your email only to run the pilot. See the privacy policy.

Questions

Does it work with my sync or bundle app?

It watches the stock levels in Shopify itself, so it sees changes from any app, a staff member or an import. It doesn't need to know how your sync app works.

Can it tell me which app made a change?

Where Shopify records the source of an adjustment, ScopeTrackr shows it. Where it doesn't, you still see what changed, where and when.

Shopify already has inventory history. Why pay for this?

Shopify's history is per product and has no undo across many SKUs. ScopeTrackr adds alerts across the whole store and a bulk restore with a preview.

Is the app live?

Not yet. Pilot stores get the logging and daily report now and shape the alerts and restore before launch on the Shopify App Store.

What access does it need?

Read access to products and inventory, and write access to inventory only when you confirm a restore.

The next bad sync is a matter of when.

Have the counts from before it, ready to put back.
